The Canadian Elite Hockey Academy Under 11 allstar team has won the
14 team international "Frédéric Robinet" Tournament in Beautiful
and historical Rouen France, on May 7-8 2016, going unbeaten.


Team CEHA wins Gold !!!

The Canadian Elite Hockey Academy Under 11 allstar team has won the 14 team international "Frédéric Robinet" Tournament in Beautiful and historical Rouen France, on May 7-8 2016.

Team CEHA went through the qualification round with a perfect 6-0 record and a goals for against of 31-1.

Team CEHA was composed of 2-2007, 5-2006 and 7-2005 born players, making them one of the youngest and smallest teams in this tournament.
Team CEHA advanced to the finals, following a very close and exciting semi final win against host Rouen, where team CEHA trailed for the only time in the tournament,
and scored the winning goal with 0,8 seconds remaining on the clock. In the finals they would play the French Northern champions Amiens,
who team CEHA had opened the tournament against, with a close 1-0 victory.

Team CEHA was welcomed by the large, and very pro Canadian crowd, who actually booed their French rivals and loudly cheered the surprised all star team.
After a very exciting introduction, including the French and Canadian national anthems, team CEHA controlled the play from start to finish,
to the delight of the very appreciative, supportive crowd. As the final horn sounded,
players from the competing French teams rushed onto the ice to congratulate the startled and unsuspecting team CEHA players.

Team CEHA wishes to thank all the tournament organizers, and friendly people, for a very well run and enjoyable tournament,
from the beautiful and historical city of Rouen. Merci beaucoup !!!
